Great performances - Phil
Jason Foster - an amazing 200* for the Saturday seconds at Tadworth. A great display of powerful hitting - not one defensive shot. 13 6's, 18 4's off about 80 balls in 25 overs out of a total of 284-5. We think this is the first double hundred for the club. Tadworth got nowhere near - a winning draw. Phil Drake - in the runs again. An 88 and a 105 against Old Cranleighans. Jeremy Garlick - in addition to his ton against RNVR, an unbelievable 7-92 against Nomads. Avoid him at all costs. Ed Rogers - 9-51 against RNVR. Rob Young - a maiden 50 against Nomads. Chris Seipp - 81 against Old Ashfordians. The Sunday side is going well - only one defeat against Streatham. The Saturday 1st team has had a couple of wins and a very exciting tie against South Nutfields. Runs for Mark Stewart and Steve Bowler. The Saturday 2's notched a good win against South Nutfield and are looking stronger. Runs for Pete Brown, wickets (6-19) from Nick Fox. Please keep us advised of your availability, and keep playing as much as possible. Don't forget about July's midweek fixtures against Newdigate and Claygate. The Colts have some games coming up - all help appreciated on Sunday mornings to support Larry, Graeme, Phil & co.
